19 Dec2014 OYSTER Big ideas from small particles OYSTER is the project that will make the research reactor of the Reactor Institute Delft (RID) considerably broader and more precise in its applicability. With OYSTER, the neutrons generated in the reactor are cooled by a device containing liquid hydrogen, slowed down and made steerable in beams. This makes new and better measurement techniques possible, even allowing us to monitor the production of materials and nutrients in real time. Download Brochure
